DESCRIPTION

This course is designed for students looking to specialise in the area of holistic and complementary therapies. It is open to those with experience in the beauty industry who may already be working and want the opportunity to upskill and expand their range of qualifications.

By participating in this course, students can enhance their expertise and stay current with the latest trends and techniques in holistic and complementary therapies. This additional training allows them to broaden their service offerings and advance their careers in the beauty and wellness fields.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRESSION

Students who are under 23 and interested in progression routes should complete Beauty Therapy Year 1, so that they achieve full QQI Level 5 award, as well as their ITEC Award. Mature entry route is available to a variety of Level 8 degrees.

EMPLOYMENT

On completion of this course the majority of students progress to employment or self-employment in a variety of settings including spas, salons and hotels.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Leaving Cert Standard or Equivalent.

Mature students welcome.

Further Course to enhance your employability will take place during the year such as: Thermal Auricular Candling and 5 Oil Aromatherapy Facial.
