DESCRIPTION

New to Grange Community College for 2023 this innovative course provides learners will a range of knowledge and skills leading to careers or further study in the areas of fitness and health.

This course allows participants to build confidence in fitness and gym training, while building skills to allow them to work as Fitness Coaches and Personal Training. Graduates will be able to advise clients in areas such as strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and nutrition.

DURATION

One Year, Full time.

Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent. Mature applicants welcome.

Candidates need to have completed Leaving Certificate, Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent. Mature applicants welcome. Applicants must attend course advisory meeting.

Applicants may be required to undergo language assessments in order to ensure they will be able to meet the demands of the course.

Garda Vetting is required and is organised by the College.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRESSION

Students may wish to progress to a level 6 course in a related field. Students may also wish to progress to courses such as Sports Management and Coaching TU935 (Blanchardstown).
