BUSINESS WITH LEGAL STUDIES

DESCRIPTION

This course will allow students to complete the business studies programme with a specialism in legal studies. It will allow those with an interest in this area to explore topics specific to the law while also undertaking some general business subjects. Students will develop critical thinking, analytical research and writing skills.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Leaving Cert Standard or equivalent. Mature students welcome.


EDUCATIONAL PROGRESSION

Completion of the major award at Level 5 allows student to progress to a variety of courses, including Dublin City University DC232 Law and Society, DCU DC231 International Relations, Technological University of Dublin TU Business and Law. Mature entry also available.


EMPLOYMENT

Students will have the opportunity to start in Junior Positions in a range of Businesses or to participate in Apprenticeship or Internship programmes.

Registration fee is non refundable, and secures course place.

Exemptions from Government Levy and QQI exam fee for medical card holders, those in Receipt of the SUSI grant, Back to Education Allowance or VTOS.
